Tadic: Reconciliation in Balkans in the name of future

Serbia President Boris Tadic said yesterday while celebrating Christmas at the Monastery of Visoki Decani in Kosovo and Metohija that ‘the Christmas is real opportunity that individuals and people in the Balkans as well, reconcile in the name of mutual future’. ‘Serbian nation wants to preserve its identity and unite it with the identity of other European nations in our mutual value’. President Tadic spent the Christmas Eve at the Monastery of Visoki Decani together with believers from the whole of Kosovo and with children from Osojane. They all attended the Christmas liturgy.

‘I am sending the message of peace to my compatriots but also to Albanians and all other nations in the Balkans. Serbia is seeking its place among other countries in Europe and wants its merits, existence and right to be recognized. Our people are seeking that right in Kosovo and in all other places where they live’, Tadic said.’
